Tanggal 24-27 Juni 2025, aku diberi kesempatan untuk perjadin dalam rangka conference EATSA (Euro-Asia Tourism Studies Association). Di conference ini aku presentasi artikel judulnya : “Are 5-Star Hotels in Bali Really Sustainable? Perspective on the Economic and Environmental Pillars of the SDGs” ditulis dan diedit bersama tetangga rumah sekaligus temenku Pak Indra Salmon, thx Pak Salmon..
Keren banget memang.
Mba Put.. thank you for saying that I radiate positive energy, haha! Honestly, if you’re reading this, you should know that you have such positive energy too. I believe God made us meet for the first time in Bali, and I’m sure we’ll cross paths again somewhere else in the world, azek.. Sayang Sanur waktu itu airnya lagi mayan surut.
Every time I go to Bali, there’s always some story that sticks with me. But last June, my solo work trip there felt so different. I went alone, and besides having to present at a big conference, Bali was way colder than usual because it rained non-stop from morning till evening. It made me too lazy to go out, but at least I finally had time to call friends I hadn’t talked to in forever. (Mba Ca and Nurul, thanks for picking up and listening to me ramble on the phone for hours, hahaha, luv you both!).
I also got to catch up with an old friend and a friend from my batch who had moved to another city. I managed to surprise them with a little visit since they had no idea I was in Bali too.
Next time, I hope I’ll join another conference with even more courage and excitement than I had this time. Thx EATSA 2025.
